Ramsukh Kaur (Monica Knudson)

Ramsukh Kaur's (Monica Knudson) teaching journey began in 2011, after attending an intensive weekend workshop in Dallas, Texas; an introductory course to Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bajan. After a profound weekend in Dallas, her training continued with The Radiant Child Yoga platform offered by Shakta Kaur Khalsa. This 200-hour YA (Yoga Alliance Certification), residential training in the Shenandoah Mountains focused on specialty populations including youth, seniors and differently-abled populations. In 2013, she began sharing these techniques in Montessori schools and local yoga studios. Over the years, she continued to teach a variety of populations while also integrating Kundalini techniques into other therapy-based programs and fitness concepts.
In 2021, Ramsukh pursued her KRI certification with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa; an approved Yoga Alliance and IKYTA recognition. This 28-day program focused on the science, practices and methodology for applying these ancient techniques for a more therapeutic and whole-body approach serving more generalized populations. As her personal practice and understanding of the teachings has evolved, she has expanded into a more diverse spectrum of applications, serving populations with addictions and mental health disorders. In 2024, she acquired a NASM-approved fitness specialist certification to compliment her yoga background. This cross-educational approach allowed Ramsukh to integrate the two platforms, yielding a multi-faceted fitness program that reduces injuries and optimizes performance goals for niche-based athletic programs.
