I am a kundalini yoga teacher trained with Gurmukh at Golden Bridge NYC. I have my Yoga Therapy certification with Guru Dharam in the first Yoga Therapy training group at Golden Bridge. I have a few CDs and perform eco music and Sacred Chant, some on spirit voyage, itunes and cdbaby. Ma Chant is the most recent. Sangeet Eleven the most recent Album.
I have been practicing as a yoga therapist along with my work in the integrative medicine field and counseling world for over 20 years. I worked at Canyon Ranch in the health and healing department for 12 years bringing music therapy and counseling along with integrative wellness, to the mainstream. I began my training with Anne Novak for many years. She is my Kundalini inspiration originally. I have a long history of many yoga practices,
My Ph.D. in philosophy with a specialization in clinical psychology and clinical behavioral medicine, a masters in music therapy, Over many years my practice involved a jungian oriented depth psychotherapy orientation, where I also do kundalini yoga, yoga therapy and music therapy. The individual work I do combines many areas, but yoga therapy is my focus. Currently my work takes me to Florida, CT and NYC as well as many destinations to combine Eco spirituality programs, adventures with music and yoga therapy.. Some of this involves my float yoga and meditation programs on paddle board that we do from Tarpon Springs Florida and other destinations. My work as an advocate for cetaceans and the soundscape of the ocean, has me serve as board member of the Cetacean Society International, and work to combine yoga with eco education and music experiences in the wild and beautiful places of this world.
I have my main work and passion in in sacred chant and I play live in my classes and record original music in the folk and sacred music traditions.
