Puran Sukh Kaur (Gundula Avenali)

Duran Sukh Kaur, aka Gundula Avenali, has a university degree in Food Engineering and Biotechnology. After completion of her university studies she was more than 10 years in business and politics. In 2003 she founded the Waldzell Institute, which brought together renowned personalities from science, economics, arts and spirituality such as HH the Dalai Lama, Paulo Coelho, Isabel Allende, Frank Gehry, Christo, and various Nobel laureates engaging in an interdisciplinary dialogue with decision makers.

Since 2013 Puran Sukh Kaur runs the yoga school YOGA VEDA in Switzerland. In 2014, together with her husband Sadhana Singh she founded the Waldzell Leadership Institute. With her pro-bono initiative „Architects of the Future“ she supports young social entrepreneurs all over the world.

Puran Sukh Kaur is a member of the Swiss Yoga Association (YS), the international Yoga Alliance (YA) and the International Association for Yoga Therapists (IAYT). She is a certified yoga teacher in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan (level I+II), in Integral Yoga in the tradition of Swami Sivananda and a yogatherapist, trained in Kundalini Medicine by Guru Dharam Khalsa. She is a speaker for science and spirituality on international conferences.
