
Sach Gian Kaur holds her E-RYT 200 and YACEP. In 2014 she completed her 200 hour YTT in Hatha in the Himalayan Tradition at Yoga North's Int'l SomaYoga Institute in Duluth, MN. In 2015 she completed a 6 month apprenticeship in Kundalini Yoga with Bemidji KRI teacher Anterbodh Kaur. In 2016 she completed her BFA in Creative and Professional Writing from Bemidji State University. She received her certification in Trauma Sensitive Yoga in 2017 from Your Yoga in MPLS, MN. In 2018 she completed her KRI Level One at the Kundalini Collective in MPLS, and her Yin Yoga certification at Radiant Life.. She teaches Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan at Unity Yoga Project in Bemidji, MN, and at her home studio, Sekhmet Yoga, in the Bagley/Shevlin area. Sach Gian is a survivor of both heroin addiction and the sex industry, and uses the technology of Kundalini Yoga, combined with Creative Writing, as a yoga teacher and youth counselor with sexually trafficked girls. She lives in the Northwoods with her husband and two children. She and her husband run Snotter Press, which specializes in the work of local writers, including Sach Gian's zine "when the crash meets something solid." Other areas of study and experience for Sach Gian include SomaYoga and Ayurveda.
