Born in Nottingham & married into a Corsican family, I am bilingual in French and English, and share my time between the UK & Corsica. I am the mother of Nina, 23 and Pierre, 20 My husband Stéphane and I created French Living in Nottingham in 1994, an authentic French restaurant, deli and café, serving traditional home-cooked meals from seasonal ingredients, while generating a warm sense of community and family. The entire story is told in my book "Come to the Table"! (Piatkus 2004) I have been practising Yoga for over 20 years, starting with Hatha and now sharing the sacred teachings of Kundalini Yoga. KRI (Kundalini Research Institute) Level 1. I begin level 2 TRAINING in 2019. I am also a level 3 student of Watsu, a bodywork relaxation therapy carried out in warm water Immortelle Yoga My husband Stephane comes from the French island of Corsica.
Corsica is the home of Immortelle, the distinctive and aromatic flower that grows profusely along the coast and the inspiration for the name of my yoga business. It has many healing properties, particularly for the skin, and its unique scent encapsulates the essence of Corsica. Immortelle is just like Kundalini teachings.....everlasting ​I am also very closely connected to another stunning island - Sri Lanka. Having visited three times, including for an entire month in 2017, I am deeply in love with this healing place and its natural ability to enhance the yoga experience.
