Since childhood Rajni felt a connection with something greater than herself as a result of spending time in nature. This early experience encouraged her to pursue a variety of experiencing including Nichiran Shosho Buddhism, Native American Sweat Lodges, Shamanic Journeying, Priestess training, called ‘Path of Ceremonial Arts’ and finally ceremonial dance before she found yoga.
In 2005, she began attending a weekly Anasura Flow class in Boulder, Colorado that a friend was teaching. She was surprised how wonderful she felt after each class. Then in 2008 she accidentally stumbled upon Kundalini Yoga. This practice felt like coming home and brought together everything she wanted in a practice. Her life as a struggling single-parent began to transform into a life of joy and ease. Two years later in order to deepen this experience, she embarked on KRI’s (Kundalini Yoga Institute) Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa & Gurushabad Singh Khalsa. After gaining her certification, she began teaching Kundalini Yoga at Yoga Junction in Louisville, Co. then at New Vista High School in Boulder, Co and finally at the Community Holistic Health Center in Lafayette, Co. She enjoys sharing these simple tools that anyone can utilize to gain a healthier body, mind and spirit.
