About Xenia Beant, E-RYT 500, YACEP
A friend first introduced Xenia Beant to Kundalini Yoga in 1998 when all she was looking for was some form of physical activity for her stiff and inactive body. Unable to formulate an opinion after taking the first class, she took another class, and then another, and another. Soon she discovered benefits beyond any expectations she ever had. Not only did she get the exercise she sought, but she discovered the chronic pain she had for 14 years began to diminish and then disappear altogether. In her life, she found calmness and patience in situations that normally frustrated her, tolerance where she was used to feeling anger, and focus and efficiency in the midst of harried deadlines. Because of Kundalini Yoga, Xenia Beant discovered an ease and grace in Life that she had never experienced before.
Through Yoga Yoga’s Kundalini Teacher Training Program, Xenia Beant became a certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor in 2004 so she could help bring the benefits of Kundalini Yoga to as many people possible who are looking for a better quality of Life. With an open heart, she brings to her classes a vitality and understanding of everyday situations, emphasizing the breath and its connection to the Teacher within.
Xenia Beant completed her Level 2 studies in 2010 and is a certified Practitioner. She is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance at the 500-hour level, a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), and Professional Trainer through the Aquarian Trainer Academy. Xenia Beant completed the SuperHealth Specialty Professional Training in 2012 and will be training as an intern teacher in 2018 in the same program. Currently, she also assists Mehtab and Guru Karam Benton, and Siri Bahadur Khalsa with the Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Programs.
